Gymnastics Victoria would like to congratulate three Rhythmic Gymnasts from Prahran Rhythmic Gymnastics Club who represented Australia at the Rhythmic Gymnastics Singapore Open.
Alexandra (Sasha) Kiroi, Ashari Gill and Chloe Hay as well as coach Kateryna Logachova joined seven other athletes and a coach from NSW’s Le Ray Gymnastics to compete at the five-day event.
The girls excelled in competition with some great results:
GOLD for Sasha in Hoop and for Sasha and Ashari in the Junior Team
SILVER for Chloe in Ball and Ashari in All Around
BRONZE for Ashari in Hoop
Juniors Sasha, Ashari and Chloe all impressed at the recent Australian Gymnastics Championships with Sasha placing second in the All-Around category and Ashari placing third.
In individual apparatus both Sasha and Ashari walked away with a swag of medals including a Gold (Clubs) and two Bronze (Ball and Hoop) for Sasha and a Gold (Hoop) and three Silvers (Ball, Clubs and Ribbon) for Ashari.
Travelling to Singapore and representing Australia is an excellent achievement and Gymnastics Victoria are proud of the athletes and their support network.
