 With a vision of every Victorian life being enriched by gymnastics the plan will focus on the role that gymnastics plays in developing fundamental movement skills for Victorians. 

Gymnastics Victoria will empower gymnastics clubs to be safe, inclusive and thriving so they can activate movement across Victoria with a focus on the four strategic pillars of:
- Foster a culture of care
- Strengthening the gymnastics community
- Making a difference to Victoria by leading movement, and
- Developing a sustainable business model

Chair of Gymnastics Victoria, Judy Young, is excited to see the launch of the new plan just ahead of clubs across Victoria being able to reopen. 

 “The new Strategic Plan has the vision to enrich lives through gymnastics and above all, it aims to ensure a safe, inclusive environment for our people,” said Judy.

“Our consultation with members and stakeholders will continue and the Strategic Plan will be a living document that adapts to the constant change we now experience and endure across our sport.” 

Gymnastics Victoria Chief Executive Officer, Robin O’Neill, believes the plan will benefit not only the gymnastics community but the broader Victorian population. 

“In the delivery of this strategic plan, Gymnastics Victoria will be unlocking participation and growth that will benefit the whole sport and health sector,” said Robin. 

“This strategic plan will deliver initiatives that will see Victoria as the premier state for children’s gymnastics and movement education, development and performance in Australia. Working as a community, we will ensure early foundation skills development are central to the lives of all children in Victoria.”
